So many women I know and deal with are caregivers, people-pleaser's, do it all, fix it all, be it all, can't say no, and should really be called "Wonder Woman" whenever you address them.
If they aren't taking care of their families, house, work, etc, then they are helping with commitments to other individuals or community organizations. Then wonder why they are tired and stressed. Because if you say "No" then you have not only let down others but you feel guilty and have that nagging thought of you should have stepped up to the plate and got it done. Raise a hand if you can relate!!
I can not say this enough! "You can not take care of anybody or anything to the fullest of your potential or ability if you don't TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF. When we don't take the time to work on our #health we suffer not only #physically but mentally too!!" Learn to back off a little and just say "No". I understand it is hard when you feel you need to do everything or want to please everyone. Here is the reality, you don't have to please everyone or do everything. There is someone else that can help, they are capable and have the time to take some of the burden off of you. You just have to give yourself permission to release that self proclaimed responsibility and just say "No".
A real "Wonder Woman" ensures she is strong enough to help others by first helping herself!
Hi guys!! Welcome to my thoughts and just some health information that I hope you can use! Let me just state this now. I am not a writer, English major, or even a blogger, so there will be mistakes in here.
